We are looking for a driven Swedish teacher who is passionate about teaching our students and providing them with the best conditions for success. This is because one of our skilled Swedish teachers will be going on parental leave.

Rosenholm School, located in Forserum, is the only F-9 school in Nässjö municipality. According to forecasts, the community is growing, and so is the school. Currently, there are about 400 students at the school aged 6-16 years.

Forserum is a small community that is easily accessible from both Nässjö and Jönköping. By train, it takes about 15 minutes. The school has a high teacher qualification rate, and the operations are in constant development. Since it is Nässjö municipality's only F-9 school, we want to take advantage of its benefits. Decision-making paths are quick, and we are flexible in our working methods.

We are a school that works with entire grade levels instead of class divisions. We have chosen to do this to create flexible groups based on subjects and/or needs. There are always at least two mentors/class teachers in each class. We have an active EHT team with special teachers linked to different classes. The EHT team meets every week to discuss student matters as well as preventive work at both group and individual levels.

Our goal at Rosenholm School is for all students to be seen and challenged based on their own conditions, experiences, and needs.

To ensure that all students feel safe at school, we place great importance on our value-based work, which we call STARS.

Increased learning - equity - meeting places; three important core values that permeate all work in Nässjö municipality's schools, the medium-sized municipality with about 30,000 inhabitants in the Småland highlands. To realize this, the municipal council has adopted a strategic and long-term development plan for preschool and school in Nässjö municipality. Within the Department of Children and Education, we work consciously and purposefully to provide every child and student with the tools needed to seek knowledge in life. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary task is teaching. Together with the school management and colleagues, you will lead and develop the daily life at the school for increased goal fulfillment. You who are applying need to be flexible and knowledgeable in many different areas. You enjoy challenges and finding solutions for individual students' different needs to succeed in primary school.

Your responsibilities include teaching Swedish at the upper secondary level and in grade 6. You may also teach language mix extra Swedish for students who do not study a third language. You may potentially be a mentor in one of the upper secondary grades together with one or more colleagues.
